Day Three
Friday, the day I began, wasn't really the best day to kick off a new diet seeing as I'd promised ages ago to take my daughter out for brunch to celebrate end of the school year and her excellent grades - she passed with a 74% average. But we made a plan and I kinda ate the diet food, which luckily for me, includes wholewheat bread and cheese at lunchtime as an option.
As I go on, I'll talk about what the BeTrim program includes and why it should work, but to start with, I want to mention two things I've noticed already.
1. This morning, after my bath, I applied the Shrink Cream to outer thighs, hips, and inner knees. Rubbed it in hard. Well over an hour later, I noticed that all these areas were a lot pinker than usual and that they were warm to the touch, compared to the rest of my leg. That would make sense considering what the ingredients are supposed to do, which is:
2. The second thing is even more interesting (and time will tell if it is real or not!). Years ago, in my teens, I suffered a severe attack of viral hepatitis. It left me with a liver that doesn't work as smoothly as it should. I don't metabolize alcohol well, for example - half a glass of sherry and the next day I feel completely hungover and sick! The other aspect is that any time I get really ill, when my system is full of toxins and other rubbish, my liver gets swollen and painful, to the point where I have to sit with my back stretched out so as not to squash it and make it feel worse. Back in 1994, when I was really sick (in hospital, isolated, IV infusions all over the place) I got this swollen liver thing and they rushed me off for a CT scan. There was nothing else causing it except the stress that the illness was putting on it (the liver, if you don't know, plays a key role in metabolism in the body.) Nowdays, I only get that sore swollen feeling if I've been sick, or if I've overeaten on fatty foods (especially cream!) or if I've drunk alcohol, which I simply don't anymore.
Yesterday, I was really uncomfortable in my liver area and it was only later on that I realized that probably what was happening was that the BeTrim program was stimulating metabolism, releasing fats and toxins etc, so my liver was taking a bit of strain. To me, that pain was Good News, as it (might) mean that the little pink and red and white pills are actually doing something!!

That would make sense considering what the ingredients are supposed to do, which is:
Tones the skin and stimulates blood circulation.
If taken in conjunction with the Be-Trim Citri-Magic-Metaboliser, the L-Carnitine, which is a fat burner, will burn up the trapped cellulite fat cells via improved blood circulation.
Contains an ingredient that is believed to flip a switch in the cellulite cells, telling them to start burning fat.
This causes shrinkage in cellulite-clad 'Saddlebag' thighs.
It will even out the 'Hail Damage' cellulite appearance.
Spurs exfoliation of dead skin cells.
Stimulates production of the skin's own collagen.
Cleans away toxins and water from your cellulite areas.
Provides oxygen to refresh and stimulate the skin. Firms the skin.
Gives continuous centimeter loss.

The Journey Begins
Hello.
I'm 'Sami'. This blog is all about my journey to regain my long lost figure.
I'm 49 years old. I don't have an underactive thyroid, I'm not diabetic, my cholesterol and blood pressure are perfect. The only thing that's different about the last four years is that my estrogen levels have declined steadily although I still get periods and all the premenstrual symptoms. And I've gained weight - about 4 kgs a year over the last four years. That is FAR too much!!
I'm starting to look just like my mother, who is in her mid-seventies and has hips, butt and thighs the size of the Titanic but with a reasonable bosom. I, on the other hand, have no boobs to speak of so this kind of weight gain makes me look like one of those dreadful toilet ornaments:

It's disgusting.
I've been going to gym 2 - 3 times a week for the last 18 months. My eating habits are no different than normal. Yes, I snack now and then, and yes, I have a fondness for bread-and-butter, and for the occasional chocolate, but I never binge eat or even overeat. It seems so unfair ... but unfair or not, I have to do something about this if I don't want to end up a Fat Fifty in the middle of next year. I've tried various diet programs over the last few years, with little success. This is a final, somewhat desperate attempt and I'm going to record it all here, as anonymously as possible but with pictures, so try and motivate myself into staying with the Program. And the Program is something called BeTrim.
BeTrim is all-natural. It's pills and potions and a healthy eating plan. It's manufactured locally and I just bought my first month's supply:

Three pills in the morning, then one before lunch and one before dinner.
A shrink wrap cream to apply twice a week, specifically to reduce the cellulite.
Another cream to apply twice a day to the really troublesome cellulite spots.
This morning, alone in the bathroom with a scale, a tape and a digital camera, I weighed, measured and finally, took some of what I hope and pray are going to be the Before shots.
A sneak look at it all:
Weight: 70.3 kgs
Worst measurement: Hips at the widest point - 114 cms
Goal weight: 54 kgs.

Updates will follow.
