Six months later ...

Well, the whole BeTrim thing proved to be a colossal waste of money. Took the pills and used the wraps for a month ... no further weight loss at all. Duh!

Now it's six months down the line. I'm 50 and still overweight. Have come to the conclusion that there ain't no magic fix outside of surgical removal of all that blubber, which sadly I can't afford and which I would probably be too scared to try anyway, lol!

So let's go back to the diet and exercise thing. Which needs MOTIVATION! There are two types of motivation I respond best to: 1 - when I have paid good money for a thing. And 2 - when I am really scared things are never going to change .... In my new diet and exercise program, both these motivations are present. I bought a package called the The Ultimate Leg, Hip, Thigh and Butt Makeover. It's built around a way of eating linked to a specific exercise plan. I started it six days ago on these measurements:

STARTING MEASUREMENTS:

Weight: 69.8 kgs

Bust: 82

Waist: 71

Upper Hip: 97

Widest Part: 111.5

Thigh top: L – 64, R – 65

Thigh mid: L – 56.5, R - 58

Knee: L – 40, R - 41

Calf: L – 38, R - 38

Upper arms: L – 26, R - 27

Not too different from the last set of measurements recorded last July. The eating plan is fine, the exercise are HARD work, and you need to do them at least three times a week, which will be a challenge given my current rostered work schedule of 12 hour shifts . But I can no longer bear the awful feelings of embarrassment and shame when I can't fit into any pants, have to wear long shirts over hip and butt all the time, and the ghastly sight of my belly hanging in folds over the top of my pants.

So here goes nuttin'!!
